^I checked out some clips of that Sure Fire LP and they sound pretty good. Lovely cover art on that one too. Might have to add it to the very long, ever growing wantlist!

Word . It's a great album . And it was $13.99 for a 180g pressing. Great sound quality too . I know Rchecka already said it , but Colemine is the label to watch !!

Johnnie Taylor - Raw Blues LP

If you are expecting something like "Who's Making Love" here forget it. This is mostly along the lines of straightforward 60s soul ballads. Nothing too crazy or adventurous but it's a solid album for sure. My copy is a 1980 reissue with an alternate cover. The pressing itself sounds pretty damn good (quieter than 70s Stax/Enterprise pressings by a long shot) even though these might not have the best rep among soul collectors. IIRC I didn't pay that much for it either.

Great album Lionsmouth . That's another on that needs to go on my ever growing but barely obtainable list ...
Right now..

The Majestic Arrows - The Magic Of... lp . This is the Numero reissue as I can't afford an OG copy . But it's a quality pressing so I can live with it .
