Frodus - And We Washed Our Weapons in the Sea LP



Killer late 90s post-hardcore record. You can hear traces of a lot things you're probably familiar with in this album, but these guys add enough of their own flavor to make a great record. I originally heard these guys years ago, but their other material was merely good, definitely not up to the level of this. Plenty of dynamic shifts, screaming passages, some spoken word, even some decent singing here. Apparently there is a special edition of this record with a bonus 7'' but my copy is the regular edition. Pressing quality isn't horrible, but about average for an indie LP these days. Mastering is nice and loud so you probably won't notice the occasional minor tick or pop too much.

The group's entire studio catalog is on Bandcamp as free downloads, but this is the album you really must hear.
