Get your facts straight - on Discogs it says "Produced by His Imperial Majesty Haile Selassie". WACKA WACKA!

Good stuff - do you have the 2015 repress? If so, is it any good?

hyper happyYes, my copy is a reissue I got from Ernie B's, so it would be whatever the newest legit reissue is. The pressing and sound quality is very good.

^One more thing, the label is Only Roots out of France. I also have their reissue if Delroy Williams "I Stand Black" which was also nicely done. I'd definitely check out more of their releases based on my experience with these two LPs.

^ Thanks - with the proliferation of small labels doing reissues, it's always good to know which ones are doing it right.

^Yeah, there are a couple European labels that are doing good reggae reissues. Iroko is another one.

Everytime I hear about Haile Sellassie I can't help but think back to the old Orb song "Towers of Dub" and the prank call Victor Lewis-Smith made and the orb sampled. You can hear it in the very beginning of the song.

Quote
Victor Lewis Smith Sampled by The Orb

“Security!

Hello, is that reception, London Weekend Television?

No, this is security, reception has gone off duty, sir.

Oh I see, uh I am supposed to meet somebody in reception, and I wanted to know if they were there waiting…

What is the name of the person you are supposed to meet?

Haile Selassie.

Haile… Selassie. Is there a Haile Selassie here? …no.

Could you possibly… if he does… he will come in very shortly; would you tell him that Marcus Garvey phoned?

Uh huh…

And that I will meet him, well it’s, meet him in Babylon and Ting?

When Marcus comes in… right?

Yeah.

And you are supposed to be waiting for him to come in… Is that Haile Selassie? No, it wasn’t him, it was a cab.

He’s a black gentleman.

But he when he comes in… you’re gonna meet him at… where was it? I’ll make a note of this…

Babylon and Ting.

Ba-by-lon and Ting.

That’s it. Right you are! Thank you! God Bless You.”

- Victor Lewis-Smith: (Comedian/Prankster, BBC, 1980-90’s)

Actually posting that Orb song in here is fitting, that song is undeniably reggae dub albeit Alex Patterson's spacey style of dub definitely it's still dub.
