Been listening to new Skyzoo, some Soul Khan, a couple GLC tracks, a little Blu (unreleased Johnson&Jonson track), Sean P. etc. on the iPod recently.

Got a 12" of The Roots "Stay Cool" (an obvious favorite) recently and that's been getting burn on the table. Also, new (old) K-Def beat records ("From the 90's Vol. 1 & 2" I believe) and some new (new) K-Def and Redef records ("Ghetto Man's Hideout," K-Def/Raw Poetic 7" EP (dope), Mass Influence (dope)). Will have to take some pics cause the artwork and wax itself on these Redef releases is always dope (music first though of course!).

EDIT:
Got the new Reks album on wax and gotta give it a few more listens.

I pulled out M.E.D.'s latest album "Classic" yesterday and enjoyed it again:

^Man you been on a vinyl splurge lately! thumbs up

How are those K-Defs?

This arrived this kend...

Scarface - Mr Scarface 12" (Rap-A-Lot Records) 1991

^Man, my face musta looked like his face when I listened to this for the first time on Saturday. What a lousy song, the beat is wack the rhymes are wack the plot is wack. I have a lot of other Scarface 12"s and albums on wax, I thought this would be decent, but it's definitely the wackest thing by him that I have by far.

^Nice, I gotta catch up my K-Def, I heard from a few heads that they were no-brainer purchases.

Last night some Hip Hop from yesterday's successful dig...

...

Cormega ‎– You Don't Want It 12" (Rawkus) 2000

^I like the way this dude raps. The A1 is definitely where it's at on this.

Kreators ‎– Home 12" (Landspeed) 2000

^Edo, Guru, and other big name rappers flow nicely on this posse cut. A good cheap 12" for the underground crates.

Hard 2 Obtain - Heels Without Souls 12" Promo (Atlantic) 1994

^Now there's three 12"s of this group's catalog on my shelves, and every single one of them has underground fire on it. Mark my words, I will own all their 12"s and hopefully some day their LP. (Fingers crossed) If you ever see any Hard 2 Obtain singles, buy that shit, it is what they claim to be.
