Good stuff Rchecka . I need to cop that GFK album ... Glad you liked the Skrapez 7s . I need to go back and see how many we are missing out of the series . And Krush is always a winner . I guess the Rhettmatic joint is only a cd release ??

Yep. All their current mixtapes are strictly CD. I don't know of any of their mixes that got the vinyl treatment.

Would you want mixes on vinyl just out of curiosity? I usually pass on those, always struck me as a bit off to put a break mix (or any mix) on vinyl.

^No, honestly I wouldn't really want em on records. Seems like CD (and obviously tapes) are the better medium for mixtapes. The whole point of them is to be continuous mixes, it kind of breaks up the mix when you gotta flip the record. I got a few DJ Shadow mixes on wax, don't get me wrong, they are great but I think I'd be happier with the portability factor of CDs for them.

^Actually, I'm listening to Rhettmatics's mix again right now and it's so dope...

Rhett is such an incredible DJ mixer, you can not believe how tight this mix is. If I spend every waking minute of my life practicing I will never reach his level of understanding mixing. Needless to say if there was a mixtape people should pay money for and buy in 2014 let it be this one.

But hey, don't take my word for it though, just look at the track listing..

Now imagine all those tracks overlapped. DJ
