Damnit! BM31 your use of the term Joe Hip Hop offends me for I am a Joe! grouch ((giggle)) JK.

It's all about the common love of the game my friends, let's get back on track. This should be a massive thread if we stay on target like Red 5 in Star Wars right before the fat dude gets blown the funk up by this guy =>darth vador

I'll start off with a lil old school.

^speaking of Joe Hip Hop, the red arrow in that picture says it all...

and some newer ones I feel don't get enough props...

^Dabrye - Two/Three

^Heather B - Taking Mine

^Redman - Muddy Waters

^Time Machine - Slow your Roll

DJ Majesty was my very first boyfriend ....I was going out with him around when Da King & I released their very first record... "Soulman" ...we had broken up by the time Contemporary Jeep Music came out...I bought it on the DL and cursed him not only because I hated him at the time but because it was damned good...his production was stellar for that time and even though he's gone on to do other major things (more notably with R&cool smiley he is still really proud of that record.....

Has he got any unreleased material that could make an EP or 12"???
I could hook him up with DWG who would do his stuff justice..

Alright here it comes you might laugh at me for this first one but I found it recently:

I was all in to the Fugees camp like everyone else back in the day...haha.... sue me.

I loved how Pete Rock put together the "Trouble Man " record. "Show and Prove" was pretty great too.

i loved this one mainly for the production.

Possibly one of my favorite albums ever.

good shit, hiphopchiq...i appreciate you sharing. I kind figured it was something along those lines...not specifically going at it a second time - 20 years later, but that ya'll was dating/in a relationship. It's funny - as soon as i finished reading your response, the first thing that hit my dome was this....LMAO.

peace.
