^Yo glad you dig it JB, thanks!

Speaking of the Blues....

...

Right Now...

Canned Heat and John Lee Hooker - Hooker N' Heat LP (Liberty Records) 1970

^This is one of those essential genre marriages that worked. A collaboration between the 70s Blues Rock revival group Canned Heat with the Legendary John Lee Hooker. It's been on my back burner for far too long and finally I found it locally in great shape at the right price. An oft seen classic that gradually gets more and more love as the price slowly starts to go up.

This is as real as blues music gets. Complete with the raw uncut verbal chatter between the studio and the recording booth, this is clearly an intimate listen. Highly recommended for the 70s UK Blues rock explosion heads in here. To put it into perspective, the Yardbirds (pre Led Zep) did something similar with Howling Wolf, so If you heard those sessions than you'll undoubtedly enjoy this.
