I've got almost their entire catalog on CD. The only things I'm missing are some live albums and re-recorded stuff which I'm not too interested in. I need to re-buy the Devoto stuff as well, but everything else I have. The only thing I have on vinyl is Love Bites, found a NM first pressing at a local store a few months back for a reasonable price, rarely see stuff like that where I'm at.

I was thinking about this, it sounds like you should do a best of mixtape. Sign my ass up if you do this.

That is a good idea, unfortunately it likely wouldn't be able to happen for at least two months due to my upcoming move. I have another idea that I'll PM you about.

Devo - Duty Now for the Future - LP



Probably Devo's best album, at least out of the first three. I don't think I've heard too much of anything from them after that. This particular copy has the perforated cover that the record company eventually got rid of IIRC. A fun record, even though I don't play it very often.

The Auteurs - New Wave CD



UK rock band with very straightforward arrangements and playing harking back to 60s groups, but over the top they've got sing/speak Lou Reed-esque vocals in a thick accent with sarcastic lyrics. Not the sort of thing that hits you over the head immediately, but when I listened to it today I realized how good it really is.

Conflict - The Ungovernable Force CD



Conflict's third album and their best in my book. One of the best political punk records ever made, even if I don't play it as much as I did when I was younger. There is a fair amount of musical diversity here, which you probably wouldn't expect from a band like this either.
