The Partisans - Police Story CD



Totally different from the last post, this is more young and angry UK '82 style punk rock. For a long time, I didn't think too highly of bands like this but my stance has softened over time. While not my favorite punk record, it is fun to listen to when I'm in the mood. I think Havoc may have reissued this on vinyl BTW, for anyone that's interested.

Great album LionsMouth! ! That's more my speed when it comes to punk. Fast and pissed . I have been listening to Crass lately ..

I haven't listened to Crass in years. That particular album is probably the musical thing they've done. I tend to view them more as a political protest group than a "band" per se.

^One main reason I bought Spin Clean was for my classical records. For example, this one in particular has so many quiet parts that you have to clean all the filth to appreciate the lulls...

Angel records is a label to look for when searching for top audio quality classical music, as long as the grooves don't appear to have scratches on them, even if they are filthy, after a good Spin clean they sound like you broke the seal on the things. The warmth and depth on the strings on this make this worth the elbow grease.

I agree about Crass LionsMouth . Most everything they do is a protest track , and Christmas is the most musical album they'very put out . But it is a great album ...
@ Rchecka , when I get my man cave together , I'm gonna have to pull out my classical records and give them a listen !!!
