That Freedie Hubbard shit is smooth! Very dope, not his finest but a really nice album worth grabbing (cheap and abundant as well!). Freddie Hubbard is the shit through and through, I've got at least a half dozen albums of his and probably another half dozen where he's a session player.

I'm sleeping on the modern psych. scene (and any/every psyc. scene for that matter with the exception of a couple African psych. things). I'll be peeping that video after I finish spinning some records.

I got Aloe Blacc's earlier album, I liked it. Kind of an interesting artist for Stones Throw, that R&B style isn't really their thing but it worked.

Last night my wife and I were lucky enough to watch this AMAZING jazz vocalist at one of our local venues.

Davina and The Vagabonds, "St.Michael Vs.The Devil"





^If you EVER get a chance to see this lady and her rag time influenced jazz backing band get the tickets and thank me later. Her voice pierces the air, mind blowing, spine tingling vocals, not to be missed! WATCH this video and watch how she make's wierd vocals stabs and the trumpet player repeats the sounds like a tape recorder. Thrilling show!
