^I landed this HUGE punk album, one I thought I'd never find for a decent price yesterday, it made my day. Very cool, almost mexican influenced rockabillyish punk on this, I slept on these guys for way too long.

^BEST BIRTHDAY PRESENT EVER!

My loving wife remembered this was on my wish list and despite it's hefty price she dropped the bombshell on me yesterday morning. Deluxe edition packaging, posters and stickers and liner notes and on top of it all it's the remastered MONO recordings of the band’s first three albums, Nico’s Chelsea Girl and the band’s unfinished 1969 LP. Stuff I have never heard before was coming out the speakers last night. It was amazing to hear this in Mono, you can hear a lot of instruments that were somehow flooded out by other sounds on the more common stereo versions. All these albums (in any form) should be considered must-have-music for the rock afficianados. This shit is downright quintessential for my collection and I will be enjoying this for a long, long time.
