Hall & Oates are dope too !! You guys are picking some good stuff to put in this thread . I thought it would be full of Debbie Gibson joints .. right now I'm rocking out to some Steve Miller band ..
One of my guilty pleasure bands is Ambrosia ..

Billy Idol might be a bit suspect, but Hall And Oates get love all day.

I hope I don't get it too bad for this one , but I really like some Fiona Apple joints . Even though her first couple of albums had a very anti-man vibe , I still thought there were some great tracks on them . Whoever was in charge of production , did a great job of separating her music from the other "pop" music of the time . I also liked the way she sang . Kinda pop , r&b , and with a hint of that classic jazz sound .



a slightly jazzy feel on this track . I always thought this was a great video too in the fact that they took a somewhat sad themed song which coincidentally somehow fit the back in the day theme , and put a happier spin on it ...



The drums and overall production (especially the abrupt changes that still somehow fall together), are what drew me to this track...



Just an overall pretty song that could've easily been over produced .
If you can get past the crazy and the issue filled tracks , not really too bad .....there's my fess up for the day...
