How have I never heard this before? They've got that tired, trashy, post-VU Lou Reed, New York, dirty ashtray, bar-mat shooter sound - I never would have guessed they're a UK band (although Bowie could pin it down that vibe as well as anyone when he wanted to). Is it bad that I love music that makes me feel like I need a shower.Quote

Hollywood Brats - Hollywood Brats LP (Cherry Red Records) 1980
This one is one of my favorite rock records in my entire rock shelf. In a way this could go under post punk too but like the New York Dolls, their outward persona is glam rockers.
