Do you ever somehow forget how great an album is ? I managed to just stop putting Lee Fields - My World into rotation . The plant was empty today , so I pulled out my clock radio with the aux jack and plugged in th iPod while I worked . I ended up playing this album 3 times in a row .






Two of my personal favorites. If for some reason anybody looking at this has never heard this album , I highly recommend it ...

I second that recommendation. Every single song on that is fire. It's been a long time gonna need to revisit that one .

I'll admit, I had never heard this until just now. I dig this in a big way! Thanks for the heads up. Stuff like this is the reason I come here and check in as often as I do.

Death is one of the great bands in the history of metal, IMHO. I was fortunate to see them play a number of times down here in Florida back in the 80s. Chuck Schuldiner will be forever missed in the scene. Really one of the most unique talents the genre ever produced.

Very cool. Admittedly I didn't really become aware of the band until the late 90s and I didn't start seriously listening to them until around five years ago. As groundbreaking as the early stuff is, the albums that I find really interesting are the later ones. Human, Individual Thought Patterns, and Symbolic are all classics in my book.
