^^ that's a good thing RC.I stayed in the game for a long time, round bout 1979 to about 2006.
I had to part with alot of stuff due to life's curve balls,
when you get em' you gotta hit em just to stay on base, feel me.
I collected more breakbeat records than others.I've noticed that most diggers flow with Northern soul records and obscure LP's and 45's from different genres.

Alot of cats (and you'll see this in other venues)think that a breakbeat is just whatever drum solo,
short or long is on any record. That is completely different than what was the rule on the streets in early Hip Hop.A breakbeat has three parts. It can be any percussion instrument or even a bass guitar break.Alot of the stuff you see online would never qualify as a breakbeat.Bambaataa and Islam would not play a couple of hits on a drum just to play them. There was a whole design to these breaks that they had chosen.

So what I am saying is, I was never the purist like some of you here, although I wish I could have been. The purist like yourself are the best types of diggers to me.I was writing one day and came up with about 10 different types of diggers and laid out the missions of each of them.I'll try to put the thoughts together and maybe blog post it.
It might be an interesting read for some here.

in the meantime in between time, Peace.

You guys are good writers (admittedly buttering you up) so I'd be a good contribution fa sho.

Been listening to P.E.'s two new ablums (both dropped this year)..."Most of my Heroes Still Dont appear on no stamp' & 'The Evil Empire of Everything'. One dropped like 3 months ago...the second one dropped 2 weeks ago. Easily their best album(s) since the "Yo! Bum Rush'/'It Takes A Nation'/'Fear of A Black Planet'-era releases....

It's very rare that a group, this far into their career (some would say the, "twilight of their career" ), can come back out almost better than ever like P.E. did, this year, on both of these releases.

My question is - why didn't they just release this as a double album (instead of two separate albums)?? Either way, both are on the top of my list of best rap album releases for 2012.

peace.
