Last night this landed...

Freqnik & WDRE - Set It Off (Remix) 7" (Boro) 2012



...and it fizzled like a bunk sparkler. A genuine waste of 7 bucks. If you are gonna take the time and remix a classic like Big Daddy Kane's Set It Off, at least ATTEMPT to be better than the original before putting it on vinyl. Beat-wise, it's boring. It's ok, but it's boring and predictable and has zero percent boom bap. There is nothing special about this remix, so why would they even drop this? I bought it based on an overly giddy review on Dusty Groove, dude downright lied to me.
