Recently...

DJ Honda - HII LP (Relativity) 1998

^Another staple Honda album with every MC in the book rhyming over his top notch production. This and H1 remind me of a compilation of a Hip Hop DJ's twelve inch singles, versus an actual album, since almost all songs on them are uniquely MCed and are worthy of being dropped as 12" single releases.

Kev Brown - South Africa Dedication 7" (Low Budget Records) 2012

^I guess I'm gonna have to start getting all his 7"s, cuz this one is only a smidgen worse than his other dope 7" entitled "Always". Seems like 2012 was a very good year for the Hip Hop 7".

T.D.S. Mob - The Dope Committee E.P. and The D.W.G. Remix E.P. ‎ and DJ Format and the Good People - Marisco 12" (Show Vinyl) (DWG Records) 2010, 2012

^Busted out a few DWG pieces as I have been rearranging and reorganizing my almost finished studio to remind me of why I paid so much for them. Worth every penny, all of these. Quite simply, file this stuff under very dope hard to obtain underground Hip Hop.

Hard 2 Obtain - Ism and Blues LP (Atlantic) 1994

^Speaking of dope hard to obtain underground Hip Hop, I finally copped this LP this week. It's been hyped as a great album, and you can bee-lee-dat! Their 12s are dope too BTW. This is one of those "every single track is dope" albums. Drop a needle on this and you'll have no problem bumping it nonstop A to D. As soon as I get home from work today I'm gonna crack a beer open and bump this again.
