Organized Konfusion - Stress 12" (Hollywood BASIC) 1994



^I like the Large Pro remix of "Stress", it's kinda funky, but nothing beats the original's great bass line sample IMO.



Equilibrium - Farenheit 813 12" (Atomik Recordings) 1998



^One of the coolest backpacker 12" singles I ever bought. Windows 98 is nerd rap at it's absolute finest. A young Celph Titled spits about the coolest Windows version to ever come out, and then he says "Fuck Bill Gates". Rhyming about chilling at the task bar over samples of the Windows 98 startup tune (BTW, interesting tidbit, that Windows 98 startup 5 second intro was produced by ambient master Brian Eno) is my cup of tea. The other 2 songs are almost as good as that. This is a great, and apparently it's now cheap, indie single.

^One I thought I'd never be lucky enough to even see in person much less own. Not uber rare or anything, it's just in high demand and usually fetches way more then the 16 bones I spent on it. I feel blessed to find this mezo grail for that cheap. The remix is really sweet, and nothing beats Nas's solo debut rhymes, he was so undeniably fresh when this dropped.
