^Funny how someone wrote "crazy" on the price tag when it was priced out. It is crazy, almost free jazz, but not quite as disjointed. Cool analog syths and some of the best Jazz drum solos I have ever heard are on this.



Les McCann Ltd - Plays the Shampoo at the Village Gate LP (Pacific Jazz)



^Another drummer fronted Jazz group, this one is more traditional, straight up jazz. Really wonderful though, down to earth good stuff.

Yesterday was a snow day,

I was forced to stay at home and listen to records all day.


Speakeasy Collection LP (Moonshine Music) 1994



^Never knew that Moonshine did laid back acid jazz compilations as well as techno and house till I got this comp. 1994 was a good year for acid jazz, and jazz infused music in general. This one has a few really nice funky jazz tracks on it.


Nicola Conte - Jet Sounds LP (Schema) 2000



^Jazz records at their finest. Great pressing, warm rich jazzy goodness. Jazz so funky it's almost danceable. Well worth the 20 bucks I spent on this sealed Import. When I get to making a nice Jazz mix this will have to be on it.
