Just listened to this one again this evening while drinking some fine beer with a friend (Firestone Walker Double Jack smileys with beer), has to be one of my most listened to records of 2012 and easily one of my favorite purchases of the year as well (grabbed this at Superfly Records in Paris in May, Superfly is the responsible party for this dope reissue as well):

Not sure what this clip sounds like but should be a worthy snippet:

^Yeah really good vibes on that, nice one!

This 'kend...

Volebeats - Maggot Brain 7" (Bloodshot Records) 1997

^Great picture 7 inch single, a humorous rip off of Funkadelic's Maggot Brain, but it's nothing like their song that's for sure. This is more like laid back rockabilly, not at all what I expected, but better than I expected for sure. Really sweet southern style rock.

Nirvana - Smells Like Teen Spirit 7" (DGC) 1991

^Damn I feel lucky finding this one! 7 bones for a certified classic grunge hit on HTF loud-ass 45 and a previously unreleased B-Side that is even better "Even In His Youth". That B side is dope.

Jah Shaka ‎– Commandments Of Dub 8 - Imperial Dub LP (Jah Shaka Music) 1988

^Nice late 80s dub reggae for ya ear hole. Not bad, not groundbreaking, but still experimental enough to keep you from getting dub fatigue from too much wordless echo chamber. Personally, I rarely get dub fatigue I could listen to the stuff all day long.
