Well I know this isn't a very pop friendly space (not that it's hostile) but this new Justin Timberlake album is nice in my book. It SOUNDS really good, great mixing/mastering/engineering and while there are some very status quo pop formulations throughout there is some very nice laid-back, falsetto R&B to be mined here.

I don't hate on Justin Timberlake. He's a grown up now unlike his boy band stuff from way back and he's been making moves again in the music world, not exactly my thing but good for him.

I do like, 'Suit & Tie'...'That Girl' is okay (although, he cant' really take that song to levels that it could be taken given his limited voice/range)...'Strawberry Bubblegum' is aiight - but without Timbaland's production carrying Mr. JT, he would'nt have the shine he's had (over the past records - and this new one). He certainly still ain't gonna be no Usher, in terms of a real singing voice and the ability to carry a note...and dance moves.


...and yes - i have heard this 20/20 album...you can stream for free.....
