That was me that made a Danzig best of, jaybrown. Didn't put any misfits or Samhain on it...wanted to make it strictly Danzig (although Samhain morphed into Danzig)...loved the path that Rick Rubin took Glen and his group, in '88.

For me Danzig is ok, not that high on my rock list but not as low as Meatloaf either. Great musician, and groundbreaking in his former and present roles, no doubt, but other than "Mother" I'm not well versed enough to even have a fair opinion.

Sorry Uptownkid . I would like to hear your best of. I used to listen to a lot of Danzig in all of his musical endeavors .

@Jaybrown - The misfits was just too punk-a-billy for my overall liking, although they had a few good songs I liked. I just liked the edgy'er rock/bluesy metal vibe that Samhain eventually morphed into, when rock Rubin started working with them and signed to Def American and changed the name to Danzig. I think Glen Danzig vocal style and range for that vibe of music better, IMO.

Questionable lyrics aside, I do like this Misfits song....
