Haha dope!

My day grind is construction work, I work with a general contractor as his go-to assistant/side carpenter and do some drywall/JC/paint subcontracting through him and independently. We do everything from interior renovation (from demo to paint) to roofing and exterior patching.

Best of luck with the renovation, you seem like you'll be taking your time and doing it right/carefully. It's great that you're doing your own layout since you know exactly what you want. I bet you got the new electric lines set-up perfectly for the stu so you won't have to be doing any shady overloading.

I'm drinking a Philly microbrew in your honor, if possible I'd bring some and my tools to help out! Anyways, good luck again, take pics and keep us updated!

Also, got an incredibly dope package from Redef today. JNota sent this one out and hooked me up with some real nice and unexpected extras (record, instrumental CD, Damu autograph, etc.). What a dude...

^Erm. Damn, no kidding, @ what a dude. Redef has been dropping hot shit lately. dropped the bomb

...

BTW, Mike Holmes, I was just kidding, you are my all time favorite TV carpenter, and your metric system is better then my standard system. I say house, you say hooouuse, but if you are reading this please help me right now. I just demoed a wall and I could use a Holmes Inspection of this mess.

Eddie Palmieri - Superimposition
Elis Regina - O Melhor De Elis (comp.)
Shuggie Otis - Free Flight (repress)
Willie Hutch - Ode To My Lady
Wayne Shorter - Oddyssey Of Iska

That Eddie Palmieri album is straight fire, maybe one of my favorite Latin records. Pure heat on the A-Side and some dope, forward-looking "Latin-Jazz-Fusion" ish shit on the B-side. Its incredible to think about the jazz piano playing Palmieri does on records like this (sparse phrasings, syncopations etc), new favorite Palmieri record for sure (Harlem River Drive is kind of a different ball-game).
