The Impressions - The Young Mods' Forgotten Story lp ... Been on a Curtis Mayfield kick lately , but all I owned by him was SuperFly , so I'm starting to build with this joint ....more to come

Loving On The Flipside 2lp with book ... This is a compilation of b-sides from Truth & Soul and Now-Again records 45s . All recorded between 1969 - 1977 . I am almost through the first album and its great. Really raw soul.

Also copped this Curtis Mayfield 5cd set . It has Curtis , Curtis Live , Roots , SuperFly , and Back To The World.

^^ Nice! Big Curtis fan here as well but still missing a few things. I really don't have much at all of The Impressions and need to step my game up in that area, I bought two of their albums a couple months ago and kinda of missed the mark. I also need to pick up some post-Curtis Impressions when Leroy Hutson was the lead singer (and there was a bunch of subsequent changes as far as I can remember as well).

Curtis, Back To The World, Sweet Exorcist and Shorteyes are favorites. I need that live record too, I've got another one and its great. Nice picks!

I'm gonna have to step my Curtis Mayfield vinyl game up. All I have on vinyl is SuperFly and that Impressions joint^^ . And a few compilations with his tracks..
