Unfortunately I don't have a cassette player in my "hi-fi set-up" anymore so I haven't peeped, I'll have to listen on the go with my Walkman.

That's my predicament too, I should just break down and go to the nearest pawn shop to find a cheap tape deck there have been plenty of times

...or this component for my PC, this will fit right into the computer tower's expansion slot, pretty slick.

Speaking of tapes how cool is this door mat?

This 'kend...

Orb and Lee Scratch Perry -The Orbserver In The Star House LP (Cooking Vinyl) 2012

^Not since Orb's very first album back in 1991 have these two producers collabed. As a huge Orb and Lee Scratch Perry fan, I couldn't resist copping this. The production is good, but by the third side I started to tire of Perry's toasting endlessly over every song. I mean, come on, let the beats speak for themselves from time to time. Granted Lee's voice is raspy and his signature style and should be expected on an album but after a while it was almost like the ramblings of Brad Pit in that new Channel #5 ad. Not even close to as good as the David Gilmour collab the Orb's Dr Alex Patterson did in 2010. Over all disappointed with the album, although a few tracks are pretty cool by themselves.

Haha that computer cassette player looks dope! Honestly, I'm sure there are plenty to be copped used for cheap, they've got "newer" technology cassette players as well. I'm not buying enough tapes anymore to do anything but put that project on the back-burner for now but I couldn't turn down those tapes at $1 a pop!

^^Not familiar with that album, thanks for the review, I'll steer clear!
