Psychedelic Furs - Mirror Moves LP



I've heard some folks say this is their favorite Furs LP, and I can understand why some people love it, but to me this one is a bit of a step down from the first three albums. The problem is not the songs, which are mostly excellent Furs pop songs, but the stiff production. I'm sure most of these tracks sounded a lot better performed live at the time. Still a good album, but just not the best the band had to offer IMHO. After this, they would get even slicker on the next record.

^ Good album. I'll agree, not as good as others though. Funny enough, I just finished listening to talk talk talk about 20 minutes ago. Love that one...

@Boombat, Talk x 3 might be their most accomplished album overall. The first one is probably my favorite though.

Yes, the 1st one is great too. I honestly can't choose which one I like better but these two are probably my favorites by them. I've always thought India was one of the best openers on an album ever. Speaking of which, pick up their live at house of blues DVD if you don't already have it. It also opens with India and its fucking excellent.

^I will definitely look for that at some point. It looks like it was also released on CD under the title "Greatest Hits Live".
