Awwww, now you got me hooked on chasing down these Razormaid records. I've ordered a couple so far. I'll check back in with you when they get here.

Live Skull - Cloud One - Cassette

This is the second full length album by this post-punk-ish/noise rock group from the 80s NYC scene. For whatever reason, they don't seem to be discussed much today, though I believe there was a reissue campaign for their albums in the last few years. I got turned onto this band from tape trading in the late 90s and purchased this tape as a sealed cutout. The sound isn't too far off from what bands like Sonic Youth were doing at the time, but the slivers of mainstream appeal aren't really there, which is why this band never made it big IMHO. Recommended if you like this kind of thing.

The Cure - Mixed Up 2xLP

Remix comps like this usually aren't my thing, but this one has grown on me over time. I'll usually reach for one of the proper albums when I want to hear the Cure but I haven't played this in well over a year so I decided to put it on today.

^That is a killer cure comp! I had that on tape and CD but never on vinyl, very jealous of that!

If you have that and Standing on a Beach the Singles collection, you have a huge chunk of the Cure's best stuff.
