^^ He's already there IMO (and commercially he just debuted at #2 so I"m not sure where else he can go). What are you listening to by him?

The latest album is good IMO, every third track is weak (yup I cracked the formula haha).

People have been catching up to him but don't go back and listen to his earlier work (starting at Section 80 isn't putting much work in), Kendrick Lamar EP and OD are more than worth the purchase/downlaod.

with all this recent K-Def talk...i had to break out the ultimate K-Def release.....his beats on this album didn't get any consistant and fresher, IMO.

peace.

I actually don't have either of these K-Def albums, I'm ashamed. He's so slept on, just listened to the latest K-Def Redef release and it is amazingly dope!!! (per usual)

Yesterday...

Masta Ace Incorporated - Slaughtahouse 12" (Delicious Vinyl) 1993

^The Slaughtahouse (Death Mix) is so def on this 12". That is to say nothing of the bangin classic on the flip Born To Roll ("Jeep Ass..." Remix) which is a no brainer classic. The Style Wars (Remix) is wack though, still a great pic disc 12" worth owning.

Random Axe ‎– Random Axe LP (Duck Down) 2011

^Another "getting caught up on my new sheet" album... New, as in last year new. Not as strong as I thought it would be based on the words from others, but it really starts to pick up and draw you in on the third and fourth sides. Decent production from Black Milk (not his best, but still strong) and witty rhymes by Guilty.
