PJ Harvey - Dry CD

Not quite as monumental as her next two albums, but this is still damn good. No idea if a high quality vinyl reissue of this has been done in recent years, but if not, someone should step up and do it.

Haven't listened to any PJ Harvey in ages - to be honest, I haven't listened to much from the 90's in the last year or two. Albums like this make me want to mend my ways.

There was so much good stuff released during the 90s that I never heard of at the time or that I simply dismissed. Always getting into more stuff from that era as well.

Modern English - Ricochet Days LP

Listening to this now. This is a cheapo bin LP I took a chance on because I liked some of the band's other work. These guys actually put out some good music besides the big hit everyone knows.

The Triffids - Born Sandy Devotional CD

Australian desert folk rock? Not sure what I'd call this. Definitely not the sort of thing that grabs you in two seconds. Worth a listen for sure though.

The Outsiders - CQ CD

60s Psych Garage Rock from the Netherlands. I guess this album is considered a huge classic in psych rock circles but I've never been blown away by it in the years that I've owned it. It is good though, probably just one of those things that gets lost in the shuffle of a large music collection. I believe this was also reissued on LP recently, though this CD from a few years back does have some bonus tracks.
