Misery - From Where the Sun Never Shines 45rpm 2xLP

Brutally heavy crust (not d-beat or metal) from a band that has been kicking around since the 80s. This album, from 2011/2012, is their last full length recording and IMHO their best album. The band would release one more 12'' mini album after this before splitting up. At least they went out on a high note. Not sure how many of these are left at this point, so if you're considering getting a copy, I would get one soon.

Pylon - Gyrate

DB Recs - 1980 US

Pylon was a 4 piece art rock band from Athens Georgia. Contemporaries of R.E.M. and the B-52s, they're largely forgotten, but they left behind 3 excellent albums. Gyrate was their debut LP. They (or their label) referred to it as "guitar based dance music", which isn't really a great description. It's all minor chords and shouted vocals with a heavy beat - every description of their music that I've ready uses the word "angular" and that's pretty apt.

^I'm a big fan of that record. I think that one and "Chomp" are both great. I should pull out my CD reissues of those soon.
