Sad Lovers and Giants - Feeding the Flame CD



I think I've posted about SLAG here before, but not this album. This is basically their second album, but if you want to get anal about it's their first full LP, as the first was really a 12'' EP that later got expanded w/ some tracks from singles.

Not much to say other than SLAG are/were one of the greatest UK post-punk bands out of the 80s and are still somewhat overlooked today. A lot of their catalog has been reissued on CD by Cherry Red, which I would grab if you are interested at all (at least the first two in the series) because when they go out of print again these will be a PITA to get.

Japan - Tin Drum CD



One of the most unique synth-pop groups from their era, there are moments on this album that are borderline avant-garde at times. Although obviously recorded in the 80s, it has also aged much better than a lot of stuff from era.
