^I sent this thru the Spin Clean cycle and it's like a new record in a way. This was so filthy it was completely unenjoyable. Now it sounds like it should have sounded the day I first played it.

Sorry... I guess I'm thinking out loud again, you probably wanna hear about the music.... It's some thought-provoking leftfield downtempo, surprisingly not dated sounding considering it's age. This nice heavy pressing 2LP has kind of a spacy funk vibe going for it.

The Church -Starfish
Does not sound like 1988 to me. I became familiar with these guys through their under the Milky Way best of disc maybe 10 years ago and there is a lot from them I have not checked out yet. This is a good album though. Favs are Reptile and of course under the Milky Way.

^Those are my favorite tracks as well. The Church put out some good stuff early on. Starfish was probably the last truly great record of their "classic period".

Check out Heyday and The Blurred Crusade. Their two best LPs IMHO.
