^I can't remember if it was AYP or similar site (maybe Anok and Peace?) but back in college a friend sent them a bunch of money and never got anything back. I haven't skated in a long time. Tried to get back into a few years ago but just didn't have the time to really invest in it.

Sensuuri - Hulinaa LP

Played this recently after having it in storage for awhile. Early 80s punk rock from Finland. This isn't really hardcore like the more well known Finnish stuff (i.e. Terveet Kadet, Appendix, Bastards, etc.), it's more like old UK punk rock but angrier and nastier, kind of like a souped up version of the early Damned or maybe even a little bit of the Heartbreakers. This is a nice done reissue on Svart Records. My copy is on urine yellow/greenish vinyl.

I never had any issues with AYP . They've always been pretty reliable for me , but I never went crazy on their site or anything . Just a few records from time to time back in the day and recently , that Murdered Minority record . As for skating , I still keep a deck in my trunk , but can't seem to pull the shit off that I used to . I put on quite a bit of weight ( which is coming off little by little ) , but that threw off my coordination , and I can't seem to get it back . I still like to push around sometimes and can occasionally land a 180 flip but it's usually pretty sloppy .

So the vinyl version of the newest Slang LP is finally out via Prank Records:

Prank Records - Slang - Devastation in the Void LP

I bought the CD last year but it was so horribly compressed I could barely judge the quality of the music itself. Kinda hard to follow up with a fourth strong album too after three great ones also. I like this band a lot so I took a chance on the LP version which should show up in a week.

Right now I'm bumping a couple of classics from way back in 1988...

Black Flag - First Four Years LP (SST Records) 1988

^"I'm Not a MACHINE!! I'M NOT A MACHINE!!!! I'M NOT A... MA...... SHANE!!!!"

Bad Religion - How Could Hell Be Any Worse? LP (Epitaph Records) 1988

^Classic.

By virtue of luck I found a live performance of the first track "We're Only Gonna Die" off this album.
