Blossom Toes - We Are Ever So Clean CD

Kinda quirky 60s psych pop from the UK. These guys have the whole theatrical/British Music Hall thing going on like a lot of stuff from this area/time period. Not something I'm often in the mood for lately but an enjoyable listen as a change of pace.

Camel - Mirage LP

Camel's second LP and one of my favorite progressive rock LPs. Even if you're not big on prog rock, give this band a shot. They have a psychedelic and even jazzy at times edge at times that I really like. This is the U.S. pressing, which has entirely different cover art from the UK edition. I'm guessing the company that owns Camel cigarettes didn't take too kindly to their parody/pop art inspired album cover and the band had to change it. Of course this cover is nowhere near as cool as the original, but the record is well pressed, sounds great, and you can probably find this way cheaper in the states than the UK edition.

Camel is a great band.

True story. When I was a dumbfuck 18 year old still in high school, I got a cheap outlined very bad tattoo of Joe the Camel because my name is Joe, and I smoked Camels in high school and thought it would be a cool thing. The tat was so bad no one even knew it was supposed to be Joe the Camel. Finally when I turned 20 I had it covered up but if you look really hard you can see the camel in my cover up.

This is why I know most 18 year olds are dumbasses, I was definitely one and to this day I still have proof on my left shoulder.

^That is funny. I don't have any tattoos but my brothers all got ink as soon as they could. One of them had Yosemite Sam as his first tattoo at 16 and thinks it's dumb now but whatever.
