Right now...

The Three Johns - Live in Chicago LP (Last Time Round Records) 1986



^Found this great find at my local record store... Had to stop the record do drop this. Talk about an awesome slept on post punk live album. This is post punk at it's best, recorded live at Chicago Metro back in 1985. A very intimate setting with little crowd noise and good acoustics. I'm kind of blown away at how smart this is, the sound is so advanced, and it's not hard enough to be straight up punk, and I've never even heard of those guys until today.

Discogs has them listed as Indie Rock (which it is not, it's definitely post punk not too unlike Gang of Four) only it is such a tight sound. I gotta get back to it, but for fans of post punk, here is a nice cheap (Starting at only $5.50 US) highly ranked and highly slept on record that you don't know about yet, but don't feel bad cuz I'm only waking up to it right now. worried

@jaybrown, RE: the Gun Club, can't remember if I've said this before, but I think mid-period/later records like Mother Juno and Pastoral are just as good, if not better, than the debut LP.
