^That's some decent punk right there. I missed out on these guys back in the day. I can see why Dischord did a reissue of that EP. Has that 80s DC vibe to it.

Abjects - Double Bind 7"

Bubblegum garage punk from this London-based band. Maybe not the most original thing in the world, but it is a helluva lot of fun. The single came out earlier this year on Greenway Records.

^I follow Greenway Records on Instagram and always been impressed or at least curious about the various visually interesting records they drop, but I never recognize any of their band's they press up so I've never bought anything. Besides colored vinyl, what's their specialty? Any good?

For the most part, I really dig the stuff Greenway puts out. Most of what I've bought from them is kinda punkish or art rock. I have this one 10" from Black Temple Shrines that I really like. They're kind of a garage rock outfit from Ireland.

Black Temple Shrines Bandcamp

White Mystery is a weird sort of art-rock band that Greenway put out a single from recently.

I also have the first 12" LP Greenway put out. It's Rachel Haden's debut album "July 6". She's the daughter of Charlie Haden, the great jazz bassist that played with Ornette Coleman, Pat Metheny, Joe Henderson, and a whole bunch of others. This album is really different from the other stuff I've gotten from the label. More chilled out and for some reason reminds me a little bit of Julee Cruise.

I'm not big into the whole colored vinyl deal, but after so many good releases, I'm at the point where I'll pick up almost anything this label puts out. One copy only, though. I don't do the "I have to have every single variant" thing, either.

That Abjects single sounded pretty good. Music like that is better suited to a single or EP format IMHO.
