The Majestic Arrows . I want this record , but it usually goes for $200-$300 . Too rich for my blood .But!!! Numero has a 3lp on preorder for The Bandit Label , which has all the tracks off the album . Gonna have to cop that . Always liked the Madlib sample of the Magic Of Your Love on the Liberation joint

Recently...(sorry, catching up)

Ashwin Batish ‎– Ashwin Batish Presents Sitar Power 7" (Batish Records) 1985

^Christ, I been digging up some weird shit lately. Don't ask me why, I just do this sometimes. This is actually pretty cool, at least as cool as the cover.

Jacques Brel ‎– La Valse A Mille Temps LP (Philips) Unknown Year

^Speaking of weird shit, I found this actor-turned-singer album locally. I think I bought it on a whim cuz I liked the label, and the Western movie like cover. The first song is great, the rest, ehh. For me to sit through an entire 2 records of a French dude singing in French, it's gotta be pretty special or at least as interesting as Serge Gainborough's records. This guy is a far cry from Serge musically. thumbs down

Charles Mingus ‎– Better Git It In Your Soul LP (Columbia) Unknown Year

^Completionism in full effeck here, I know what he does on his records and I want more of it. This is a nice radio station copy of two full albums for next to nothing (price-wise) so I had to bite.

Bear Proof Suit - The Objects In Mirror May Be Fucked Up EP (Repulsion Records) 2006

^Punk addiction growing pains right here, I bought a stack of 45s in Madtown and based on the name and cover image I took a chance on this horrible record. It was only a buck so whatever, no big loss. I'd rate this a conservative 2/5 on a good day.

Chemical People ‎– Ask The Angels 7" (Pecker Records) 1990

^On the other hand I took an educated guess on this one and it turned out to be a great score. I will DEFINITELY be checking for this band in the future. File under "smart-punk" as opposed to "smart-ass punk".

Popdefect ‎– ¡Puro Desmadre! 7" (Flipside Records) 1990

^This was recommended to me by my new favorite discogs seller who I found out is an actual punk band member in casual conversation with him. Incidentally dude is a punk pro and I take his recommendations very seriously even though he's the guy selling them. I am in love with this seven, it is SO good.

Popdefect ‎– Heart Murmur Records LP (Heart Murmur Records) 1988

^Great album! I got lucky shortly after finding the seven and found this earlier album by them locally for cheap. This is one of the best punk albums I own. Actually, you could call it rock as it's not just punk, although it's fairly punkish. Either way, it's cross genre sound should be palatable by punks and non-punks alike.

Boards Of Canada ‎– Tomorrow's Harvest LP (Warp) 2013

^Everything these guys do is mellow gold in my book. Chugging slow ambient textured beats, almost an Eno like sound compared to their previous albums, they really have gotten more technically advanced on this without sacrificing their simple childlike samples sound they've been know for. It'll take a few listens for me to get it, but I love it and would definitely recommend it to BOC fans.

^So you had enough time to give this a few listens, what's the final verdict on that?

I know they got it on record, should I add this to my list?

Very very curious.
