^I love Pablo recordings, they are usually cheap and always pretty great quality.

That said, this is the worst cover I've seen in a long time.

Yeah, let's just say photography and graphic design wasn't the label's strong suit. I can think of far worse covers though.

This morning ..

Martha Davis And Her Torrid Trio - You're On The Right Track Baby lp . Although this is a Swedish label Comp from 87 , the music contained is from the late 40s and early 50s . This made some great Sunday morning music ..

I could only find this one track from that album on YouTube . I got a mint copy , but the tracks sound like they were pulled straight off of old 78s . There is zero surface noise in between tracks , but I hear some when the tracks are playing . The weird part is that it almost adds to the sound ( I hope that makes sense ) . Other than that , the audio quality is great for such old recordings . This album contains 18 tracks and I couldn't find one that I didn't like . If you can get with that back in the day vocal jazz , I recommend Martha Davis ...

Back on some way back vocal jazz today .
Anita O'day - At Mister Kelley's lp . This is a 1981 Japanese Verve pressing of a 1958 live recording . I'm not sure where it's coming from but I have been on a female jazz singer kick lately . This is a beautiful sounding reissue that generally runs about $12 , so not pricey at all . Although I think it's entirely possible that I may be the only one around here that's feeling it grinning smiley .

^I have to admit, outside a few of the big names I'm not that familiar with vocal jazz. The last thing I picked up were two 2xLP collections of Ella Fitzgerald songbook albums - Cole Porter and Duke Ellington. Those are both great.
